A Cantata of the Cherokees - Poem accompanied by score written by James Robert Gillette. Fischer Edition no. 4210. Includes a Peidmont College Commencement program from 1921 that featured a performance of "Nacoochee". The legend of Nacoochee is associated with an Indian mound near Helen, GA and deals with young lovers leaping to their deaths from nearby Mt. Yonah.
